Approach to therapy

Preliminary Consultation

Engagements usually start with a preliminary consultation between you and the therapist. During this consultation, you share some background and your expectations from the therapy. It is preferred to have this consultation as an informal face-to-face meeting which lasts 30-45 minutes. Alternatively, this consultation can also be done over phone. All your details are retained confidentially and you can stay assured that nothing is shared with anyone. This preliminary consultation is not charged.

In this preliminary consultation, the therapist collects your personal details, history and current situation and any problems or concerns that you are facing. You also discuss about the change that you want from the therapy as also realistic expectations of the time-frame for these changes to occur. The therapist then explains what typically happens in a session and what it is like to experience hypnosis and past life.

Any prior experience with hypnosis and past-life regression should be shared with the therapist alongwith any experiences of deeper levels of relaxation or altered states of awareness. When sharing your history, it is best to share medications or drugs used and any instances of emotional upheaval so that therapist can gauge any contraindicators for you.

At the end of the preliminary consultation, you may agree to schedule a formal therapy session with certain objectives in mind.

Therapy Session - what to expect?

At the time of the therapy session, the initial 15-30 min are focussed on an in-depth discussion about your problems and concerns, as also a review of your objectives from the session.

The actual therapy session lasts from 90-120 minutes and is a combination of hypnosis, past-life regression and often energy healing which helps to not just diagnose your problems but also helps you and the therapist to consolidate your benefits. You should have an open mind towards your experiences, and towards any release of frozen memories and their associated emotions - all of which are part of the healing process that you may go through.

Therapy sessions include both the actual experience under hypnosis and/or past-life regression, as well as time that you spend in a relaxed state to reflect on the insights, learnings and healing that you experienced and which become your takeaways from the healing.

Regardless of the techniques employed for you, therapists work to a code of ethics that puts your interest first and nothing is done unless it has been discussed and agreed in advance with you.

Therapy sessions are conducted in comfortable and quiet setting where you are either reclining or lying down. An audio recording of the therapy session can be provided if you request for it.

After the session

The therapist will contact you a few days after the therapy session to inquire of your well-being. This post-session followup is to check if you have been able to consolidate and apply your insights, offer clarifications and help you discuss and evaluate whether all of your objectives from the session/s conducted have been achieved and whether you may have unravelled any other concerns that require attention. Depending on your progress, you may wish to schedule further therapy sessions at your own convenience.
